Ingredients

2 teaspoons honey
1/2 teaspoon hot water
1 large pink grapefruit, halved, seeded, and segments loosened with a grapefruit knife
2 tablespoons finely chopped crystallized ginger

Preparation

  1. In a small bowl combine the honey with 1/2 teaspoon hot water and spread the mixture on the grapefruit halves. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of the ginger on each half and chill the grapefruit, covered loosely, for at least 2 hours or overnight.
