Cabbage Ranchero

The quantities for this recipe are extremely variable, depending on how far you want to stretch your cabbage.

Ingredients

Onions, chopped
Butter
Tomatoes, chopped
Cooked cabbage, cut into small pieces or chunks
Ketchup
Chile powder

Preparation

  1. Brown the onions in butter in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the tomatoes and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Toss in the cooked cabbage, add a few tablespoons of ketchup and a rounded teaspoon of chile powder, and there you are.
