Bloody Mary Concentrate—Very Handy to Have on Hand.

This mix will keep for months in a sealed jar in the refrigerator.

Ingredients

1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons prepared horseradish
2 teaspoons Tabasco or other hot sauce (optional)
2 teaspoons celery salt
1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Preparation

  1. Combine the lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, and hot sauce, if desired, in a jar. Add the celery salt and pepper and mix well. To serve, combine tomato juice and vodka, if desired, in a glass over ice. Stir in 1 to 3 tablespoons of the concentrate, depending upon how spicy you like your Bloody Mary. Add a stalk of celery or pickled green bean.
