Blood Orange Mimosa

It used to be that blood oranges came around only at Christmastime and had to be flown in from Malta. Now, however, they are grown in California and Florida and have a much longer season. We show them off in what’s become a signature cocktail at Bubby’s.

Ingredients

2 ounces (1/4 cup) fresh blood orange juice
3 ounces Champagne
Twist of blood orange zest

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Combine the blood orange juice and Champagne in a Champagne flute. Stir gently.

    Step 2

    Garnish with the blood orange twist and serve.
