Ingredients

1 12-oz. can Coca-Cola
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons mild-flavored (light) molasses
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons English mustard powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Preparation

  1. Bring all ingredients to a boil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring often, until sauce is thickened and begins to turn dark red, about 20 minutes. Let cool. DO AHEAD: Can be made 2 weeks ahead. Cover and chill.
